The Church celebrated today the Palm Sunday.

Palm Sunday recalls and celebrates the entry of Jesus into the Holy city of Jerusalem, just before his death on the Cross , a few days later, on Good Friday. 

It reminds the people of the precariousness of human nature in that the same people, who hailed him as a Redeemer, spreading their garments on the road that he trod on seated on a donkey and singing Hosannah, only a few days later, on Good Friday, shouted before the judge to crucify him! Lord Jesus thus becomes the Saviour of the world by dying on a Cross, taking upon himself the sins of the world! This is why we exclaim in our faith: Jesus died to save man from his sins!
